The Milan Court of Appeal fully confirmed the judgment issued by the Court of Milan, which had rejected the claim submitted by two former managers of a renowned fashion house, upholding the exceptio rei transactae raised by the defendant, in application of the principle of law according to which the settlement – as a negotiating instrument to prevent litigation – is intended, like the judgment, to cover the deducted and the deductible.
