NatPower Group, an independent developer for renewable energy projects, founded by Fabrizio Zago and backed by financial partner Tyrus Capital, announces the closing of a strategic partnership with Vinci S.A. whereby this latter invested approximately €50 million in NatPower SA, by means of the acquisition of 10% of the company’s share capital, and the underwriting of €30m of convertible bonds issued by NatPower.

Alongside the investment, the parties have reached an agreement to jointly develop renewable energy projects (principally onshore wind and solar) in the United States. To this end, PedersoliGattai advised NatPower for the aspects relating to the establishment of a US joint venture, participated by NatPower and controlled by VINCI via its subsidiary Cobra IS.
