Through Boost Innovation Fund, CDP Venture Capital promoted the creation of a venture builder dedicated to building and launching new business ventures that will develop products or services for the digitisation and innovation of SMEs operating in the nautical and port-logistics sectors.

Cariplo Factory, one of the most relevant open innovation hubs in Italy, acted among others in the venture building project as investor, in joint venture with Bridgemaker, a primary standing German venture builder.

“Venture Builder di Filiera Nautica e Logistico-Portuale” project, aims at creating 10 new companies over the next three years, which will be the subject of subsequent equity investments by Boost Innovation Fund of CDP Venture Capital.
