CVC Capital Partners Fund VIII, acquired 100% corporate capital of the renowned restaurant chain, La Piadineria, from Permira, DeA Capital and the founder and chairman Donato Romano.

La Piadineria is market leader in Italy in the fast-food industry, with over 400 restaurants and a team of more than 2,400 people.

Closing of the transaction is subject to certain preliminary activities and clearance from competent authorities and it is expected in the first half of 2024.
