On 1 August 2024 Iren SpA completed the closing of the transaction whereby it acquired, as a result of the negotiated crisis resolution procedure pursuant to the Italian Legislative Decree no. 14/2019 (Crisis Code), from the companies EGEA SpA, EGEA Commerciale Srl and EGEA Produzioni e Teleriscaldamento Srl, an interest equal to 50% of the share capital of a NewCo, to which the operational branches of EGEA group companies were transferred.
