The Bagnoli family, founders of Sammontana, an Italian company active in the production and marketing of ice cream and other confectionery products, Frozen Investments S.à r.l, an investment company owned by the Investindustrial VIII fund, and the senior management of the two companies involved have announced a partnership aimed at aggregating the business of the Sammontana Group with the Forno d’Asolo Group. The aim of the agreement is to create an international leading producer of frozen pastry, dessert and ice cream products.

The Bagnoli family, Investindustrial and the senior management will own 100% of the new group with operational control remaining to the family, while Andrea C. Bonomi’s investment fund will lead its international expansion.
