At the AgriVoltaics Industry Forum Europe 2026, held in Bordeaux on 14 October and promoted by AIAS – the Italian Association for Sustainable Agrivoltaics – Cesare Gatti and Lorenzo Massaro took part in the session ‘Enabling Agrivoltaics: Regulation and Policy Frameworks in Europe’.

The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities for agrivoltaics in Italy: from the need to overcome regulatory fragmentation and set uniform criteria for the continuity of agricultural activity, to the importance of a regulatory framework and incentive schemes that genuinely support the integration of agricultural and energy production.
