The reorganisation of the bancassurance division of Banco BPM was executed through the acquisition by Banco BPM Group from Generali Italia of the entire corporate capital of Vera Vita and Vera Financial, instrumental to the internalisation of the life insurance business within the group, and 65% of Vera Assicurazioni and Vera Protezione, with the consequent termination of the relevant partnership; in the same context, Banco BPM sold back to Crédit Agricole Assurances S.A. 65% of Vera Assicurazioni and Vera Protezione, as well as 65% of Banco BPM Assicurazioni, to launch a long-term bancassurance partnership in the non-life-protection sector.
