By order dated 24 July 2024, the Italian Regulatory Authority for Communications (AGCOM) decided on the amount of fair compensation due from Microsoft for the online use of journalistic publications of GEDI Gruppo Editoriale SpA on Bing search engine. This is the first order issued by AGCOM involving an on-line search engine for the use of editorial contents.
