Irca S.p.A., a company controlled by Advent International, has completed the acquisition of the entire corporate capital of the newco into which the company run by Benetti family shall be contributed.

Benetti is a leading Italian company in the distribution of food products to pastry shops, bakeries, ice cream parlours, delicatessens, bars, hotels and restaurants.

PedersoliGattai advised Irca with a team led by Carlo Montagna (partner) and including, for M&A aspects, Francesca Luvisotti (senior associate) and Elena Secondari (associate).

Labour law aspects were managed by Lorenzo Cairo (partner) and Silvia Maresi (associate).
