PedersoliGattai acted as legal advisor to Edison in its acquisition of the entire share capital of Nuove Iniziative Energetiche N.I.E, Cuorgnè and Idro Ressia, companies that together hold a portfolio of 10 mini-hydroelectric plants located in Piedmont under public concession.

The acquisition took place in the context of a competitive bidding process launched by the seller Idronord.

PedersoliGattai assisted Edison with a team formed by partner Carla Mambretti and Federico Montorsi (senior associate) for all corporate M&A matters, and by Nicola Martegani (senior counsel) and Clara Balboni (senior associate) for legal due diligence aspects, and Micaela Tinti (senior counsel) and  Elena Martignoni (senior associate) for all administrative law matters.
