Italgel S.p.A., a company operating in the production of gelatin and collagen, controlled by BU private equity fund, acquired 100% of Protein SA shares, a Spanish company specialising in the production of collagen.

By this acquisition, completed in cooperation with Vezza Family, founder of Italgel S.p.A., the group achieves a turnover of 150 million and aims to strengthen its position in the sale and distribution of collagen-based products.
